Baltimore, MD Today, Clean Water Action endorsed four candidates for Baltimore City Council. The candidates include Ryan Dorsey for Council District Three, Kristerfer Burnett for Council District Four, John Bullock for Council District Nine, and Shannon Sneed for Council District Thirteen.
“Where and how we grow has an enormous impact on our air, water, and finances,” said Anna Mudd, Maryland Program Coordinator for Clean Water Action. “These four candidates are committed to inclusive processes that protect communities and the environment so that families, neighborhoods, and local economies thrive. We know they will be strong leaders who will commit to fighting for environmental priorities and are dedicated to improving the Baltimore’s green spaces and infrastructure. ”
Since our founding during the campaign to pass the landmark Clean Water Act in 1972, Clean Water Action has worked to win strong health and environmental protections by bringing issue expertise, solution-oriented thinking and people power to the table.
